Step 1: Purchase a KidEvent Pro/KidEvent Lite subscription.
If you accessed these instructions from the KidEvent Pro product page in the Online Catalog, simply add a KidEvent Pro/Kidevent Lite subscription to your cart and continue with the purchase process.
If you are outside of Lifeway.com or somewhere on the site but not in the online catalog, you may purchase a subscription by going to kideventpro.Lifeway.com/login.aspx and clicking on the “Buy Now” link. When you reach the KidEvent Pro product page on Lifeway.com, add one subscription to your shopping cart and continue through the purchase process.
Step 2: Activate your subscription.
Once you have completed the subscription purchase process, you will receive an online receipt. Click on the “Activate Your Membership” link on your online receipt or within the receipt sent to you by email. The site will easily guide you through the three-step activation process.
(Please note: If you intend to import data from a previous KidEvent Lite, KidEvent Pro or an old session of VBS Tools Online, you will need to indicate that during the activation process. This is the point at which you will need the User ID and Password from that event or session’s.
Step 3: Setup your KidEvent Lite or KidEvent Pro account and website.
Once you activate your membership, the site will take you directly to the Church Profile page to complete your church information and enter the dates of your event.
After saving your information on the Church Profile page, you will either begin to set up your first event or you will begin the import process of data from a previous session. If you choose not to import information from a previous session, you will have the option of declining the import step.
If you import data from a previous session, please note the Particpant and Volunteer match information in the Addendum notice.
Also, please note that last year’s particpant and volunteers will import as unregistered.
