Although the Internet will never be 100% fail safe. We feel that using Lifeway’s secure servers and online processes is much more securer than even using the telephone or U.S. mail for payment or personal information. We want to give our customers the most Internet protection we can.
When Lifeway customers use our Online Catalog their information is securely stored on our own in-house servers located in the United States. We use processes and technical safeguards to protect all personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, and disclosure. This privacy protection includes encryption, firewalls, and secure socket layers. We treat all personal information as an asset that absolutely must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. So we employ many different security processes to protect this personal information from unauthorized access both inside and outside of Lifeway.
Not only that, but your own Internet Service Provider should give you security as well (contact them to find out what they do for you) and nearly all credit card issuers have processes to protect their customers who use the Internet and they have limits of personally liability to usually no more than $50. Contact your bank(s) or credit card company to find out what they have specifically in place for you.
