On the Church Profile page under “Church ste-up” you will enter your church’s’ webpage in the “URL” field. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Save” button.
Next you will go to Admin and click on “Homepage Management”. The Homepage Management area of KidEvent Pro allows you to update the “Information” field on the homepage of your event registration website.
The first field on the Homepage Management page is called “Event Custom Church Website Greeting”. This is a long-free form text field for the homepage of your event registration website. If you would like to add a custom message to your event home page, enter it in the text field. After you have entered your message in the field, click the Save Page Info button below the field. To preview your customized web page, click the Preview link at the top of the page.
Note: Also in this area, EventKid Pro provides the HTML code you need to link your church’s website to your event registration website. In order to create a link to the event homepage, the code must be copied and pasted into the code for your church’s website. Your church’s webmaster or the person responsible for the church’s website should be able to help you with this. If you use a WYSIWYG program to maintain your church’s web site (Front Page, Lifeway Link, E-zekiel, etc.), you may not need the entire paragraph of code. You may only need the URL (beginning in https:// and ending in a 4 digit number) found in the Registration Page URL field.
